Brahms Symphony 2 Riccardo Muti, New York Philharmonic

I cannot believe that I have lived this long without really ever appreciating this magnificent work of art. I post this as a blog without any indication that anyone today would care. But I care, so this is why it appears here. I rate Brahms Symphony 2 up there with Beethoven's Symphony 6 and his Ninth. It may be the most beautiful single work of music that I have ever listened to. It transports me out of my body and into a state of pure ecstasy.
