My Thoughts on September 11, 2010

My reaction to pastor Jones is to condemn his action because it will cause America major problems.


What is written in the Koran as in the Bible is subject to the interpretation of the individual or groups reading these books. We all know that there are a relatively small number of screw-balls in this religion (as there are in Christianity e.g., abortion bombers) who believe they are the avenging angels of death carrying out God's will.


But it is important as civilized beings to be aware that the vast numbers of individuals in all religions and in no religions wish merely to get on with life, make a living, have a family and live in peace. The mistake being made by many of us is to lump all Muslims together as dangerous screw-balls.


Remember, the vast majority of Muslims who immigrated from all parts of the world to America see America as the "Havre de Grace" just as those who came before us. This is the promise of America and the dream of Americans.
