We'll Meet Again, Don't Know Where, Don't Know When...

Our species still requires a lot of evolving to go through. Too bad time ran out on us. Our minds evolved to the point where we are able to make complex things to kill ourselves and render the planet sterile. But our minds never evolved in wisdom, or what is really sad, some peoples' minds have but there are not enough to change the outcome.  I am reminded of the background music in the movie, Doctor Strangelove, in the final scene where Slim Pickins is riding the H bomb down to earth...

"We'll meet again,
Don't know where,don't know when.
But I know we'll meet again, some sunny day.

Keep smiling through ,
Just like you always do,
Till the blue skies chase those dark clouds, far away."

Postscript
One may think I wrote this intending humor and I did but I truly believe we have crossed the point of no return and what I suggested is inevitable.  In some respects we have begun "End Times" mentioned in Revelation; however, without Jesus and without the levitating of the righteous above the ground. Our species goes to the end blind to the fact of what we have done.  As T. S. Eliot wrote “The eyes are not here…There are no eyes here…
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.”
