For the record, the Roman Catholic Church says it preaches the Gospel of love. To a degree it really does. In the United States Catholic Charities performs worthy work. However, it is "love" with conditions. And love with conditions is not really love at all. Instead of looking with love into the hearts of the needy the Church, "triumphant and righteous" looks to those it says it loves and denies them love. There has always been a reason for this. The Church and similar organizations attract men with a certain type of personality as leaders. For the most part, such men (and they always are men) use the organization to further their psychic agenda which is the control of others and society. Ultimately, the church is about control not about love.
